  • 11/1925 - Over 40,000 members of the Ku Klux Klan march on Washington D.C.
  • 2/1926 - American archeologists report discovery of ancient Mayan city in Yucatan
  • 6/1926 - Bobby Jones wins British Open golf championship at St. Anne's
  • 5/1927 - Charles Lindbergh becomes first person to cross Atlantic by air
  • 7/1928 - Amsterdam plays host to 1928 Summer Olympic games
